Small Classes
Our small classes allow every child to be seen, heard, and supported. With an average class size of one teacher to twelve students, our intentionally small classes create a nurturing environment where teachers truly know their students’ strengths, challenges, and interests.
Active Learning
We believe the best learning happens when students are fully engaged, curious, and active in their education. That’s why at Achieve Academy, we practice Active Learning, an approach where students build knowledge through hands-on projects, group discussions, real-world experiences, and creative problem-solving.
Field Trips
Achieve Academy extends learning far beyond the classroom. Our students experience hands-on, real-world education through exciting field trips to museums, farms, science centers, cultural festivals, nature preserves, and local businesses. These adventures spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect classroom lessons to the world around us.
Diverse Curriculum
Achieve Academy celebrates the brilliance of every child. We create spaces and learning materials that reflect our student body and allow every student to discover their passions, embrace their identity, and excel in a supportive, inclusive community. At Achieve, we honor diversity in both our classrooms and the curriculum. Our Black History Month events encourage the community to learn from with our students.
Entrepreneurship
Every year, each student starts a unique business based on their interests and talents. Our entrepreneurial program gives them the tools to turn creative ideas into real ventures through hands-on projects, business challenges, and mentorship by local entrepreneurs. We empower our young innovators to dream boldly and lead with vision, courage, and purpose.
STEM Agriculture
The STEM agriculture program at Achieve Academy includes our Junior Gardening Program, taught twice weekly by Master Gardeners. We believe in planting seeds for a sustainable and self-sufficient future to cultivate responsibility, creativity, and a love for the earth. Our students maintain a sustainable garden year-round, sell the harvest to a local restaurant, and share with the community.

Project Based Learning
Widening the students’ vision of themselves and their capabilities is the main goal of Achieve Academy’s project-based learning plan. Project-based learning benefits students by fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving skills, which deepen their understanding and engagement while preparing them for success beyond the classroom. During the Kid Boss program, students work collaboratively to create an innovative new product from concept development to the manufacturing process to marketing, learning to become entrepreneurs.

Academic Excellence
Our program of core academics and electives, including entrepreneurial training and leadership development, builds confidence in students who, prior to attending Achieve Academy, were timid, confused, and struggling in school. Our skilled teachers view each child as an individual with unique characteristics, offering differentiation when needed, especially when presented with new material to learn. We recognize that there is no single go-to approach for achieving learning success, so we approach each lesson as an opportunity for exploration.

Diverse Extracurricular Activities
We believe that for each child to find their interests, they should be exposed to a diverse range of activities. Students at Achieve Academy participate in an evolving list of extracurricular activities, including music lessons, Spanish with a native speaker, tennis lessons, sewing and design, STEM agriculture, and art appreciation classes. Exposure to diverse activities ensures that each student finds their passion and develops their God-given talents.

CPR and First Aid Training
The safety of our students, their families, classmates, teammates, and friends are of the utmost importance to Achieve Academy. We are a key component of each student’s “village” which means that education is not limited to the traditional academic subjects. Ensuring that each student is prepared for emergency situations is the goal of our CPR and first aid training. Each student takes classes in CPR and first aid for yearly certification.

Achieve Academy’s experienced teachers have a passion for education, a love of learning, and dedication to our students. We are proud to maintain an average class size of 1 teacher to 12 students, ensuring personalized attention and tailored instruction.
